Through training and development you will learn in:

  • Calling customers from the provided call lists and making sure that they are happy with our service report and quotations; any customers who are not satisfied need to be reported to the Internal Sales Supervisor immediately
  • Record all information received from the call lists
  • Answer incoming calls professionally and in a timely manner
  • Manage and respond to all emails in the Sales inbox
  • Follow up with and fill in ‘new lead’ sheet
  • Make courtesy calls to new clients at agreed specific points of their journey
  • Create Sales Tracker reports
  • Conduct Credit Safe and Companies House checks for potential customers
  • Create showroom and sample agreements, and chase their timely return
  • Make order confirmation calls on a daily basis
  • Add new customers to Evo-Net
  • Print EPC Certificates on a daily basis
  • Maintain and file new account paperwork
  • Take responsibility for the Service Call inbox
  • Create customer forms and ensure that they are returned in a timely manner to enable appointments to be booked
  • Brochure and Stock Management
  • Preparation and distribution of new customer ‘Welcome Packs’
  • Gather and post the brochure packs, product information, wall posters, etc. (as and when requested)
  • Organise and distribute important announcements to our customer base via mail shots (as and when required)
  • Monitor and order samples
  • Take responsibility for personal KPIs
  • Try to make every customers experience a positive one
  • Help with processing as required

  • Comfortable with holding difficult conversations in order to diffuse a situation

Desired qualifications

  • GCSE or equivalent qualifications at Grade C/4 or above in English and maths is a desirable requirement for this position. Evidence of these qualifications will need to be provided if you are shortlisted (evidence being your certificate)
  • If evidence of these qualifications cannot be provided you will enrol onto English and maths Functional Skills as part of your apprenticeship (this will be a mandatory requirement and college attendance will be required)

The majority of the apprenticeship will be delivered in the workplace, however there maybe requirements to attend Loughborough College throughout the duration of the programme.
