Mitie Fire and Security is one of the top 5 largest fire and security businesses in the UK, with over 200 engineers nationwide, delivering all aspects of Fire and Security solutions to a mix of customers. We are looking for the future stars in the business by investing in apprenticeship schemes, the apprentice will be working closely with there Senior Engineer and Regional Service Manager, supplied there own van, tools and equipment to ensure they are coving a variety of work to support the development and growth of the individual, once signed off they will be able to complete small PPM tasks in between the onsite learning by themselves to support the confidence in the field.

  • Assisting Senior / Local Engineer in the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive fault calls of a variety of Fire and Electronic security systems inclusive of Portable extinguishers where deemed necessary
  • Ensure current knowledge and understanding of health and safety regulations and procedures is maintained
  • Keep up to date, so far as necessary, for the efficient executing of your job, with new legislation, procedures and techniques
  • To be conversant with and participate in activities and developments relevant to the post
  • To act professionally at all times and maintain strict confidentiality and discretion at all times
  • To undertake any other duties as may be reasonably required commensurate with the post
