Role of Business Administrator Apprentice  

As Business Administrator Apprentice key roles and KPI are outline below and may change progressively to need the business needs and working environment within the organization.

The Business Administrator Apprentice job role involves:

  • New businesses development, introduce our services to prospect via CRM
  • Update and manage client databases, and turn leads to sales/deals
  • Sending schedule emails to prospect and relevant newsletter/update to staff
  • Outbound calls, emailing, and producing progress report (client weekly reports)
  • Receiving inbound call and managing diaries/scheduling candidate and client meetings
  • Providing customer service support to clients as required
  • Asist Managers in Tender preparation/presentations as at required.
  • Ready to provide ad-hoc covers as required.
  • Holds a full UK driving licenses-preferrable or working towards (driving will be required progressively)

Key Performance Indicators (KPI's):

Set target for metrics and performance assessment is stated below and will be review progressively to need business demands.

1) Develop strategies to deliver growth:

  • Engage with on phone per prospect via CRM, and possible site visit.
  • Manage client tasks calendars and appointments
  • Improve Customer retention with existing clientele
  • Produce client feedback reports each month and monitor our improvement record

2) To deliver outstanding local marketing campaigns, adopt best practice to maximize the benefits of (CRM)

  • Monitor marketing/campaign emails, manager business social platform on CRM
  • Keep/maintain email/follow-up record for prospect

3) To report directly to the Operations Manager

  • To send weekly report via CRM
  • To refer/update Operations manager with relevant prospect email or enquiries.

The role of Business Administrator Apprentice may involve these functions from day-to-day as business demands

  • On-going apprenticeship or willing to start related Business administration course.
  • Manage existing client to point of repeated use of our services
  • IT literate, Competency with all Microsoft Office packages (Word, Outlook, Excel PowerPoint skills)
  • Research UK market and develop understanding of our business and clientele
  •  Exceptional and confident communication skills in English both spoken and written
  • Initiative and proactive, hardworking approach
  • Happy to work in a small office, sometimes on site with one or two others
  • Answer all incoming calls via phone as first point of contact for the Business.
  • Manage diaries, arrange interviews and meetings.
  • Follow-up and manage customer relationships and maintain contact/prospect
  • Proactive positive attitude with the ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with experience of multi-tasking.
  • Highly organized with accurate attention to detail using structured systems and processes.
  • Friendly, enthusiastic to do a high-quality job always, team player.
  • Updating Health and Safety documents and policy/procedures.
  • Booking training courses and keeping up to date records of ongoing training for staff
  • Other roles may be delegated/assigned to meet business needs

Working hours per week is 37.5 hours. Rate is £4.30 to £8.36 per hour depending on Apprentice age and duration of apprenticeship.
