The role will cover all aspects of the sales function:

  • Planning and preparing for calls and meetings
  • Contacting potential customers, getting past the gatekeeper and speaking to the correct person – arranging appointments where possible
  • Communicating effectively with customers and other stakeholders, promoting the objectives of the company and building the brand’s reputation
  • Managing existing customers to ensure they receive the best service, developing and maximizing these accounts
  • Understanding the products and services that the company offers and aligning those to the customer’s need
  • Owning the sale from start to finish, working with the customer to establish their needs, recommending the correct solution, preparing the quotations and order forms, negotiating with the customer and closing the deal
  • Following up on calls and sales, maintaining the CRM system with comprehensive notes and follow up actions
  • Working with colleagues in the sales and marketing team to create and update the sales territory plan, communicating any opportunities for potential products and services that have been identified during conversations with customers/stakeholder
