The successful candidate will form part of our team working on both commercial and private jobs. Our work is from concept through design and into installation, we offer the complete range of landscaping services to fit all gardens. We get to work at lots of different sites as well as some regular sites. So there is a degree of variety.


Our company is well known for our high professional standards and we expect our apprentices to aspire to be the best. You will be given training on-the-job as well as one day a week at Berkshire College of Agriculture.


We enjoy all things landscaping and have been doing this for over 15 years. We want to take on an apprentice who is positive and energetic and wants to learner about the industry we thrive.


Tasks will include:

  • preparing and levelling ground
  • erecting fences
  • helping lay patios and paths
  • prepping and laying turf
  • planting shrubs and plants to design spec
  • garden clearance
  • building decking
  • sports pitch and lawn care

Future prospects

We are looking for someone with enthusiasm for landscaping who will be happy to learn and long term be a strong part of our team. Full time employment will hopefully be offered at the end of the apprenticeship provided understanding of the job is reached.

Things to consider

This job is hard work but also very rewarding as you can see the end project in a short amount of time. There is a lot of heavy lifting, cement mixing, barrowing etc and in all conditions throughout the year. Based at SL4 5UR. Must be able to get to site. Public transport to this site is minimal.

About the employer

We have been landscaping for nearly 20 years and re-branded in 2010. Since then, we have established both long term maintenance and landscaping contracts at both residential and commercial sites such as hotels and schools. Our business has substantially grown in the last few years and we now have a team of approx 15. Our landscaping projects vary dramatically, some will be a small 1 day job, other will last up to 2 months +.
