Duties will include:

  • Perform postal duties
  • Incoming - Scanning on all incoming post and distribute to relevant members of staff/department
  • Outgoing post - send outgoing post to relevant provider/advisers
  • Prepare New Client and Existing First Appointment Packs including First Appointment Letters
  • General administration support to the adviser support/online processing teams
  • Store Room Management
  • General office duties/greet visitors
  • Project work - such as OEIC to ISA/Annual Valuations
  • With guidance learn how to manage own day to day activities efficiently and effectively
  • To communication effectively, both internally and externally
  • To maintain positive working relationships with group colleagues
  • Support and collaborate with other departments as required
  • Keep up to date with company policies, procedures, and technology
  • To present a positive image of the BBT group in all dealings with advisers, clients, product providers and the public in general
  • To adhere to Data Protection and Financial Crime Regulations
  • To ensure that you treat customers fairly in accordance with the FCA's TCF principles
  • Any other duties required from time to time to ensure the smooth running of BBT
  • Be responsible for your own personal development - ensure regular meetings are held to discuss personal competence and personal training needs

Our Business Administration Level 3 Programme consists of the following:

  • Full on-the-job training and support will be provided to enable the successful applicant to undertake the full range of duties required of the role. All apprentices are required to complete and evidence 20% of the job learning whilst on their apprenticeship
  • In addition, the apprenticeship will be delivered primarily on our online platform, Babington Online and you will receive full support from our dedicated team of Training Advisors via workshops, webinars and regularly scheduled reviews, conducted by Skype and/or Phone

This includes:

  • Business Administration Level 3 Standard
  • Functional Skills in Literacy and Numeracy Level 2
  • End-point Assessment conducted by an external provider (Presentation or project, interview and knowledge test)

The end-point assessment is designed to enable apprentices to demonstrate that they are fully conversant in the skills knowledge and behaviours expected of individuals at this level. It is designed to provide assessors with a holistic view of the apprentice, and to allow them to assess to what extent the apprentice meets or exceeds the apprenticeship standard.
