The job is changing all the time, depending on the enquiry at the end of the phone or email


Main tasks include:

Helping customers over the phone with their product enquiries, checking stock, providing additional product details and lead times. Alerting the web team about updates that are needed to a website. Taking customer’s orders and payments over the phone.


Dealing with delivery issues over the phone. Contacting couriers, tracking deliveries.


Dealing with our suppliers, checking on lead times and stock, getting product issues sorted for the customer.


Assessing product issues and replacing faulty products/parts. Reporting quality issues to purchasing.


Our customers can be the general public or the trade. We build good relationships with our trade customer’s as they are going to give us repeat business.

Experience of using Microsoft Office especially spreadsheets. Good IT skills

We are a friendly team and you will need to be able work with us as a team member.

A positive attitude is needed especially when dealing with difficult customers.

This position could lead on to many different roles. Team members have moved on to

Things to consider

We are in a rural location with no public transport. You need to be able to get to and from work and/or college. The job is based in an office and the dress code is business casual.
