To be placed in our onsite kitchens preparing and learning how to cook food from fresh produce. A full spectrum of A La Carte dishes consisting of starters, mains and desserts. As the apprenticeship progresses the candidate will be given the opportunity to choose a specialist area on which their training will concentrate.

As an Apprentice Chef you don't need to have tons of experience in a kitchen, though it can help.

We'll teach you everything you need... All you need is a willingness to learn, a genuine love for all things food and the passion to create amazing dishes. Responsibilities included in this role:

  • Prepare cook and present food to company specification
  • Keep kitchen clean, tidy and hygienic at all times
  • Work safely around kitchen equipment and monitor and deal with any maintenance issues
  • Keep up to date with new products, menus and promotions
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures and licensing laws
  • Be involved and contribute at all team meetings
  • Carry out instructions as given by management and head office

In doing so, we support many local and UK producers, farmers and suppliers. We use biodegradable cleaning chemicals, we sort and recycle around 80% of our waste and our used oil is collected, cleaned and converted into biofuel. We don’t work with just anyone, we look for the highest accreditations, full traceability and sustainability so that we don’t harm our precious environment.
