We are looking for a dynamic and capable person to join our Business Support Team to learn every aspect of the administration function of the company. The role will involve providing administrative support across the business, including accounts, health & safety, marketing, operations and HR functions.

The ideal candidate needs to have strong attention to detail, accuracy and communication skills and be willing to learn and develop at a fast pace. You will become a central member of the team in our growing business, with the potential to develop the role further into the future. This position would suit an individual interested in property development and design with a creative nature.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

Reception duties:

  • Welcoming visitors, telephone and email enquiries, forwarding calls and message taking
  • Receiving deliveries and arranging collections

Office duties:

  • Monitoring stock levels, identifying new items, requesting items to be ordered
  • Updating information on notice board
  • Performing checks on cleanliness, organisation and tidiness

Administrative support:

  • Scanning in documents and saving to file, sending emails, checking documents
  • Checking post box and distributing mail
  • Researching, obtaining prices etc.
  • Supporting with the development and maintenance of social media posts and sites

Accounts support:

  • Dealing with supplier invoices via email, save to PDF and distribute to correct departments
  • Receive hard copy supplier invoices via post, scan to PDF and distribute to correct department for checking and processing
  • Checking supplier statements and requesting copy invoices
  • Raising sales invoices and sending statements to customers
  • Updating customer and supplier files and obtaining details where required

Premises support: 

  • Assisting with waste management and recycling requirements
  • Supporting premises issues including maintenance and repairs
  • Storage area monitoring

Any other administration as required by your job role.

Potential for travel to client sites for meetings and project support.
