Duties to all aspects of Business Administration and staff Rostering to support the service including:

  • Undertaking the rostering of the rota's of the Care staff and communicating this to employees 
  • Answering queries regarding rota's 
  • Dealing with absences of staff
  • Responding to emails and enquiries regarding the service
  • Answering the telephone and liaising with clients and carers
  • Filing
  • Assisting with the initial stages of recruitment
  • Copying

  • Updating records and company trackers

Further down the line and once training is completed you may be asked to assist with Service User visits as part of this role. Full training will be given.

Desired qualifications

GCSEs at grades A*-C/9-4 (or equivalent) in maths and English preferred. 

IT qualification (or equivalent) would be beneficial however not essential.

Progression for the right candidate within the organisation to Care Coordinator.

Things to consider

You will be working with vulnerable individuals. You may need to undertake a background Enhanced DBS check. As you develop further within the role, you may be asked to be 'on call'. In the case of a situation where cover can not be found you may need to step in and visit one of the service users. Full training will be given before you are asked to do this.
