MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To provide technical support; answering support queries either onsite or via phone or email
  • To maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries
  • To take ownership of user problems and be proactive when dealing with user issues whether raised directly or via escalation from another team member
  • To log all issues on the relevant system and maintain full documentation
  • Respond to enquiries and help them resolve any hardware or software problems
  • Support users in the use of Computer equipment by providing necessary training and advice
  • Work as part of the IT Support and Data team and any other operational/project teams as requested
  • To allocate more complex service issues to the relevant IT Support team member
  • Obtain quotes and process orders in line with departmental policy
  • Setting up and configuring new laptops and desktops
  • Installing authorised software to laptops and desktops
  • Configure/maintain computer systems, networks and peripherals as instructed
  • Keep abreast of IT Trends new systems available
  • Interpret, analyse and present Google Analytics information on our websites and e-commerce
  • Be able to develop, maintain, present and continually improve business intelligence dashboards and information feeds
  • To develop dashboards and reporting in line with our company KPIs and contracted KPIs
  • To reduce the errors in data entry and ensure staff are aware of processes
  • Be able to support a “self-sufficient” agenda where individuals are confident in SystmOne and be able to provide clear messages on clinic status
  • Responsible for compliance on Information Governance Standards, the completion of the IG Toolkit and ensuring LivingCare has appropriate practice
  • Be compliant with all NHS Confidentiality Standards
  • To be compliant with the Access to Patient Records Standards
  • Provide suitable cover where required in line with business needs

Level 3 IT Solutions Technician apprenticeship standard, which includes:

The Level 3 IT Solutions Technician is designed to provide Learners with foundation-level IT knowledge, including mandatory units with both a Hardware and Software pathway.
