Our apprentice will be trained to provide an excellent customer service to our internal 23-branch network regarding repairs and invoices, and will communicate with them to assist with raising repair orders for our damaged fleet.
Daily duties:
- Communicate with branch’s and suppliers in a polite, courteous, and efficient manner
- Ensure invoices are accurate and directed to the correct customer
- Ensure the text of an invoice is correct and suitable for presentation to the customer
- Direct invoices to the branch for further information such as a customer purchase order
- Understand the various invoicing procedures for key accounts
- Accurately create order numbers using VMRS codes and text to ensure that repair records are complete
- Make detailed notes on each stage of training to present to the line manager, to assist with the development of a training plan for future Fleet Quality Controller Apprentices
- Observe Health & Safety and statutory regulations throughout
- Alert the immediate superior to significant problems in good time
- Successfully complete the apprenticeship by completing assignments and attending training, as required

Requirements and prospects
Desired skills
- Previous experience in customer, administration, data processing or costing work is desirable
- Good telephone manner and keyboard skills
- Able to work as a team
Personal qualities
- Willing to learn and committed to completing the apprenticeship
- Adaptable
- Confident speaking to people in person and on the phone
Desired qualifications
At least 5 x GCSEs (including English and maths), grade 5 or higher, or equivalent.
Future prospects
It may be possible to apply for a permanent position upon completion of the apprenticeship.
