This role is the beginning of the chain for a successful telemarketing call and is integral to ensuring our clients’ needs are met. The role is a vitally important part of a successful roll out of a whole marketing campaign.

Daily tasks:

  • Experience in telephone calling preferable e.g. Contact/Call Centre Operative, Telephone Researcher, Telephone Customer Service Advisor/Executive, Reception
  • Confident and polite telephone manner
  • Able to ask questions quickly and clearly and record answers accurately on our CRM system
  • Use of the phonetic alphabet to clarify spellings
  • Basic PC skills (especially web browsing)
  • Quick and accurate keyboard skills
  • Some familiarity with Word or Excel preferred (not essential)
  • Strong team player with a positive attitude to new tasks and experiences
  • Ability to work at speed/pace and still be accurate
  • Motivation to make dial targets to achieve customer’s expectations

Whilst the role is for a telephone researcher, there is a progression opportunity to become part of the Telemarketing Executive team.

Things to consider

Apprentice will be spending the majority of the day on the phone.
