As a Post Office counter assistant your day-to-day duties would include:

  • Selling stamps and dealing with letters and parcels
  • Paying out pensions and benefits
  • Accepting bill payments
  • Selling travel insurance and foreign currency
  • Making sure the books balance at the end of the day

In our main post office, you will be involved in selling and advising customers on a wider range of products as well.
