You will undertake designated duties within the Personal Insurances Department in accordance with the Company’s requirements.

Duties may include:

  • To deal with claims in accordance with Authority granted under Binding Authority and refer cases outside this for instructions
  • To handle day to day queries from clients/jewellers via phone, correspondence or email and act as point of contact
  • To process incoming certificates, ensure they are correct and enter them into the system
  • To scan certificates into the system where appropriated
  • To liaise with colleagues in the MIS section and share information about the current insurance marketplace, and to assist them with any insurance queries
  • To comply with service standards at all times, to ensure the best service is provided to clients
  • To provide insurers and underwriters with accurate information to ensure they can assess each risk correctly
  • To maintain accurate files and to ensure copies of correspondence and telephone notes are correctly recorded
  • To maintain clients’ and the Company’s confidentiality at all times
  • To fully understand TH March Policies and Procedures and ensure they are adhered to
  • To undertake all other duties as reasonably required and directed
  • To comply with the Company Policy on Information Security and Acceptable Use

The Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner Apprenticeship Standard consists of:

  • Level 2 Customer Service Standard
  • Functional Skills in maths and English

You will attend monthly sessions as part of your off the job training throughout your apprenticeship. Most aspects of your training will be delivered on site by the employer, where you will gain all the skills, knowledge and experience to assist you in this role. Your duties will vary from day to day, and throughout your on site learning process you will work closely with experienced members of staff.

You will have regular visits every six to eight weeks from your designated assessor, who will help you and monitor your progress throughout your apprenticeship programme.
