As the Technical Administrator, you will be building solid relations with the production, working closely with them to test materials manufactured  and to analysis and report findings via various business platforms.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • The role of the Samples Administrator is to support the external sales team by managing Customer requests for samples

Customer Samples:

  • Send out samples by request ensuring a same day or next day delivery to customers
  • To ensure the correct SDS and or COA is dispatched with each consignment
  • Manage sample stock to ensure the right stock is available
  • Conduct stock takes by method of cycle counting daily
  • Complete the Sample Spreadsheet
  • Liaise with the External Sales Person notifying them when samples have dispatched or the reasons why samples have not been sent within target times
  • Communicate with customers once goods have dispatch and confirm tracking reference
  • To supply Monthly data on volume v cost for department highlights
  • To assist in the reduction of disposal due to communication and stock management with the external sales teams

Purchase of Sundry items:

  • Raise purchase orders, for approval by senior management, for replenishment of laboratory, office and miscellaneous consumables and equipment
  • Liaise with team members to advise delivery dates and any delays etc.

Fire Alarm Test:

  • To conduct Fire tests on a weekly basis and communicate any finding
  • To actively develop and be part of the improvement on site by constructive observations
  • To complete sprinkler checks and also conduct emergency lighting checks weekly/monthly per the site schedule

Complaints/CARs:

  • Train to be part of the team to log and investigate complaints and cars

Technical Functions:

  • To be able to complete COA, Business Questionnaires, prepare packs, inventory management dispatch administration goods in and out of the business reconciliation

Adhoc Duties:

  • To complete ADHOC duties as and when required
  • Points 2-5 will assist with departmental flexibility during periods of absence
  • To maintain work area housekeeping at all times
