The successful candidate will be trained to provide excellent customer service and complete effective administration of all required tasks. Working in a busy and challenging environment. MSC Ipswich has 17 Customer Service Teams and on a rota basis you will become a member  of the team on specially selected areas. You will be given your own individual mentor from MSC Customer Services who will meet with you regularly. You will gain extensive skills and experience whilst completing your Apprenticeship.

Key tasks the Customer Service Co-ordinator Apprentice will learn in the role are:

  • Handling customer queries in a professional manner & ensure timely resolution
  • Processing data accurately in a timely manner ensuring that process and procedures are followed
  • Maintaining information on internal systems
  • Providing support to the customer service teams as required
  • Meeting targets as specified
  • Building relationships with teams throughout MSC

We hope to offer a chance and opportunity to progress with MSC into a permanent position after the successful completion of the Apprenticeship.

Things to consider

Preferred applicants will hold previous relevant professional experience, but this is not a requirement. The position will involve long periods of working on a computer and a phone. It is an office based position.
