As part of this role you will be required to study towards the Customer Service Practitioner Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard at Colchester Institute.

Be part of a family business, where everyone works closely with one another, all dealing with a variety of tasks and work. Sharing the work load but working as a team to develop the business.

The role will be varied and will including working with all members of staff:

  • In the main the role will focus on Customer Service, assisting Customers who visit our shop and Customer orders that we receive on-line
  • This will involve a variety of tasks, from booking in and checking deliveries
  • Helping monitor stock control, processing orders which will involve assisting with wrapping and packing orders
  • Processing and Entering customers details and sales information
  • In the main the role will focus on Customer Services, both face to face and on-line
  • Time will be shared reasonably equally between the variety of tasks that the individual will be involved in, which will include a reasonable amount of computer work
  • Developing and improving Customer experience both in our Shop and on-line

It is our intention to develop the knowledge and skills required, so that within 6-12 months the individual can be promoted and their role developed, thereby the Individual will have the opportunity to manage and teach other new staff members.

  • All candidates will be required to complete Colchester Institute's mandatory initial assessment process before being put forward to the company. This will consist of online assessments
