  • Answer incoming telephone calls, deal with enquiries, quotations, sample requests and sales orders on the basis of a shared workload with the other sales office clerks
  • Produce invoices fro issue to customers on a daily basis via a computer system from information shown on despatch notes. Invoices should be issued no later than a day after goods have been despatched
  • Issue credit notes where necessary
  • Produce a weekly printout of outstanding orders as control and ensure all invoices have been produced against goods despatched
  • File consignment notes daily
  • Scan correspondence, invoices etc onto our Datafile system
  • Print labels on Thermal Machines where necessary
  • If requested, deal with customer invoice queries and process returned goods from customer complaints within a timely manner
  • Deal with incoming/outgoing post, including trips to Post Office if required
  • Complete ongoing training as required and requested by the Company
  • Assist other members of staff with any required departmental duties to satisfy customer enquiries or internal processes
