As an Apprentice, you will be given structured training and will shadow other Recruitment Consultants in the office.
Recruitment is a growing industry, known for producing a lot of high earners. It is especially suiting for those with a driven, motivated attitude and an interest in client-focused roles. Within this position, you will work both from the office and will also attend client supply meetings across the UK.

Your roles and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Compliance

Before the Nurse/Practitioner is booked to work they must be Compliant. Core documents saved to our systems and proof of this is sent to the client before the Agency worker begins their placement.

Your role: To chase specific documentation to send to the compliance team. The benefits of this, is to create and build relationships with the Agency Nurses/Practitioners.

  • Resourcing

Resourcing is the key to the business. Engaging with new people and selling our business so they would want to register with CareJoy.

We support Hospitals (Clients) both NHS and Private across the UK. Once a Client in engaged with us, they will let us know what their specific requirements they struggle to cover. Week by week we will have “Hot Jobs” this is something the Client urgently requires. Other Agencies will also be working on this too.

Your role: To resource for the specific Agency Nurses/Practitioners. We use Job Boards, Social Media and to use our database to re-engage with old staff that we have not spoken to in a while.

We look for that something special, by thinking outside the box and being that more creative in finding staff. This will take time; we do not expect you to do it over night. This will be targeted per week. It is not just about registering and moving on to the next candidate. You will need to chase the documents and keep them interested in registering.

  • Payroll/Bookings

The benefits of working with an Agency is that the Nurse/Practitioner is paid weekly. Each shift we place the candidate into, the client will confirm the booking with a reference number.

Your role: To ensure bookings are on the payroll system correctly so the Nurse is paid on time and paid accordingly, to prevent payroll issues.

You will need to perfect the above duties before further duties and responsibilities are issued to you. Once you have the above mastered the next step will be to join a specialist recruitment team and start to build your desk!
