Duties will include:

  • Compliance Monitoring of calls made by the business, including broker, sales, and credit control. The monitoring will cover both the operations and the compliance requirements
  • Document and report the findings in a clear and concise manner to both the Compliance director and the relevant managers. The significant findings need to be reported daily for any significant findings and a summary to be circulated on a weekly or fortnightly basis
  • Perform DPA monitoring on a weekly basis and circulate the findings to both Compliance Director and the relevant managers
  • Undertake Anti Money Laundering Checks before accounts are deposited
  • In depth Compliance review of the directors, guarantors, and shareholders above 25% before deposits
  • Compile file ready to be checked by checker
  • Work closely, quickly, and proactively with the Relationship Managers to ensure they are aware of outstanding items to complete the task at hand
  • Generate broker contracts on the systems and ensuring the details of the brokers are correctly input on the agreement. These are then sent by the broker manager or through yourself via the Nivo app
  • Undertake reviews on potential brokers and ensure the due diligence checklist on brokers are filled and signed before each broker agreement is returned to the Broker Manager
  • Ensure scanned copy of the signed broker agreement is uploaded on flexi admin and shared drive. Also ensure the broker is set to active on FA
  • Update relevant spreadsheets as and when new brokers are signed up
  • Conduct due diligence checks on brokers who have more than 6 deals funded per year on an annual basis
  • To include any PEP identified on the PEP Register and monitor on a monthly basis
  • Monthly checks on all deposited loans for that month - Originals received, Debentures, Legal mortgages, ensure they are signed off by Compliance Director and chase the Relationship Manager for missing documents
  • Prepare remediation letter and send over to the customer accordingly. Follow up closely and update FA once we have received the remediation letter
  • Report suspicious activity reports (SAR) as indicated by the Compliance Director into the National Crime Agency, NCA
  • Ensure a copy of the SAR is saved on the shared drive
  • Keep a log of all the SARs as logged on the NCA system
  • Monitor Flexi Admin on a monthly basis to ensure all flagged accounts have been reported accordingly into the NCA
  • To complete any reasonable admin request from Management as and when required
  • Ensure all relevant documentation is filled accordingly
  • Undertake any reasonable request as and when requested by Compliance Director
