The role will involve working in multiple areas of the business from dealing with customers, unloading deliveries, using IT to check stock, technical processing and quality control, processing deliveries for dispatch and ensuring systems are updated.

The focus is on delivering a great customer service to both internal and external colleagues.

You will need to understand:

  • Health & Safety: Work safely at all times, complying with health and safety legislation, regulations, and other relevant guidelines. Identifying risks within their processes and support/carry out countermeasure activities to improve safe working. Manage equipment and materials daily in-line with supplier standards e.g. COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health).
     
  • Recognise the products, services and language used by trade customers and the technical application of those product and services, processing and recording the receipt, storage, assembly and despatch of goods. Receiving stock, despatching customer orders and processing returns in line with company processes and loading /unloading of supplier and contractor vehicles
     
  • Quality Control: Demonstrate appropriate process documentation control and processing
     
  • Problem Solving: Demonstrate their ability to identify and resolve problems within the mobile phone and technical areas using effective problem-solving tools and techniques.
     
  • Continuous Improvement: Generate ideas and contribute to process improvement activities individually or as part of a team.
     
  • Communication: Demonstrate communication skills which include oral, written, electronic, information boards or visual displays to effectively share information communicating confidently to internal and external customers about the company and how it operates
