Role purpose:

Reporting into the Customer Service Manager, your duties include, but are not limited to, answering telephone calls, managing all incoming queries through the help desk, supporting the Customer Account Manager as and when required. You will have direct contact with the clients, so it is essential that you have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Additionally, you will be required to support projects, as well as looking at ways to improve current ways of working.

Duties:

  • Provide effective and efficient administration support to the Customer Service Department
  • Responsible for managing client queries, using a number of tools as well as working closely with the warehouse operations team
  • Support Customer Service Manager in any task they feel is necessary within the scope of your role
  • Ensure all internal controls are adhered to
  • Answer telephone and direct calls as appropriate
  • Processing refunds and exchanges where required
  • Receive and respond to customer queries within 48 hours
  • All supplier discrepancies to be flagged to the customer as soon as possible
  • Support the daily/weekly turnaround of customer order queries
  • Maintain office filing system
  • Act as a communication relay between Customer Services Team and the Warehouse Operations Team
  • Plan and organise the purchase of all office supplies, uniforms and PPE requirements in accordance with purchasing policies and budgets
  • Perform administrative support functions such as data management, creating reports, drafting correspondence when required
  • Develop effective working relationships with staff and stakeholders
  • Act as liaison with other departments and divisions
  • Support the warehouse in picking/packing/inbound/ if required to do so
