Apprentice Business Administration Assistant is a general role encompassing all aspects of a small but busy IT Support Company.

The role will involve:

  • Assisting other members of the team
  • Presenting management information
  • Processing orders (supplier and customer)
  • Customer liaison
  • Answering telephone calls
  • Logging of support requests via the Internet, email and telephone
  • Accounting/ book keeping
  • Developing & running social media campaigns
  • Updating web site content and search engine optimisation
  • Using a range of IT software packages
  • May be required to attend client site visits & meetings

A general role would allow the candidate to gain a good understanding within all aspects of a growing business. As the business grows a number of roles will become available allowing the candidate to apply for a desirable role.

Things to consider

We welcome applications aged 17-25 but recruitment would be based on merit. We welcome applications from candidates living locally or those with their own form of transport. Apprenticeship National Minimum Wage (ANMW): The National Minimum Wage for Apprentices is £3.40 per hour from 1st October 2016. This is the legal minimum pay per hour applying to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their apprenticeship. For apprentices 19 or over who have completed their first year and are continuing their apprenticeship, the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies.

Training provider

On completion of this Apprenticeship, you will receive a Level 3 qualification in Business Administration.

On the job training to be provided by the employer with a full Apprenticeship package delivered by PTS in the workplace. 

Functional Skills in Maths & English supported if necessary.
