    Wages explained

    The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year.
    Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year.
    The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over.
    Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

In this role, the successful candidate will be supporting the management in the smooth running of the office. The employer, based in Poole, provides CRM solutions to Universities with a speciality in student data collection.

The duties that the successful candidate will be undertaking will include:

  • Taking phone calls and relaying messages
  • Updating database with client information
  • Dealing with post
  • Filing and handling paperwork
  • Helping to deal with client enquiries and issues

This is a full time paid apprenticeship role.

Qualifications required

A minimum level of – GCSE or equivalent Maths grade C, English Language grade C, IT or related qualification grade C. Preference will be given to candidates who have achieved A level or equivalent in the above subjects.

Future prospects

The possibility of full time employment after the apprenticeship period. Apprenticeship Wage will be reviewed after 6 months with a possibility of an increase for the right candidate.
