To provide administrative and secretarial support to Principal. To manage Avant & Co Accountants office and ensure smooth daily running of all office functions. To provide Bookkeeping, accounting, and business support services to clients. The role includes:

  • General bookkeeping duties
  • To provide administrative and secretarial support to Principal
  • To ensure there are systems in place for managing the workload effectively and making sure that quality standards are maintained
  • To ensure that there are systems in place for maintaining complete and accurate client records
  • To manage schedule and diary for the Principal and arrange appointments on his behalf
  • Organising and prioritising future commitments to ensure schedules are not overloaded.
  • Company Secretarial tasks such as company formation and other technical tasks

Desired qualifications

Future prospects

A permanent opportunity would be available for a successful apprentice. There is the opportunity to progress onto AAT level 4

  • During your apprenticeship you will be required to complete a workplace portfolio, participate in the classroom training and complete any employer training, all of which will count towards your 20% off the job training.
  • We will assess your prior learning using your CV, an In-Depth interview and the completion of a skill scan and will adjust the apprenticeship accordingly. This will ensure you are learning new knowledge, skills and behaviours.
