An exciting opportunity has become available for a dynamic Service Coordinator Apprentice at Martin Williams (Hull) Ltd. The successful candidate will be confident and self-motivated with great communication skills, have a keen attention for detail, be well organised and have experience of using Microsoft Office packages.

Working as a Service Coordinator you will be responsible for the coordination of service and maintenance for customer vehicles both on customer sites across the UK and at the head office site

Demonstrating working to demanding deadlines, possessing a can-do attitude, creative mind, high level of energy, enthusiasm and happy to communicate with customers at all levels duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Answering incoming, and making outgoing, customer and supplier calls
  • Updating performance spreadsheets
  • Monitoring compliance with SLA’s and KPI’s
  • General administration duties including filing, scanning, and emails
  • Producing and processing quotations
  • Raising purchase orders

As part of the Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship standard, which includes:

  • Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours
  • Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
  • End-Point Assessment (EPA)

You will take part in a combination of activities, such as face-to-face classroom-based sessions, remote learning sessions, work shadowing and online learning, to support your learning and development and compile a portfolio of evidence.

The successful candidate will be required to attend the Avant Skills Academy Training Centre (Hull) every other week to undertake training sessions, throughout the length of the apprenticeship. 


Apprenticeships are about upskilling and reaching occupational competency takes time. Many employers and apprentices have praised the positive effect off-the-job training has on their productivity and apprentices feel valued by the significant investment in their training.

All off-the-job training must be relevant to the Apprenticeship Standard being undertaken. Your off-the-job training will be agreed with your employer and Avant before you commence your programme.

End-Point Assessment (EPA):

At the end of the on-programme learning, you will be required to undertake an End-Point Assessment to demonstrate you have met the occupational standard.
