Duties will include:

  • Inputting data onto internal systems with a high level of accuracy
  • Typing correspondence by e-mail Filing, photocopying/scanning and distribution of relevant documents
  • Preparation of stock accounting and quality control documentation Assisting with carrier labels
  • Assisting all members of the team as and when required Using Microsoft Packages, in particular Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Delivering high levels of customer service in a friendly and professional way
  • Communicating with external customers e.g. Delivery Drivers etc.
  • Answering the telephone in a professional manner and dealing with enquiries
  • Making telephone calls to customers to update them on their orders, after training Warehouse duties
  • General portage duties including moving of boxes and general housekeeping Loading & unloading vans , if and when required Communicating with external customers - Royal Mail/TNT other Delivery Drivers etc.
  • Adding stock to shelves
  • Checking in/out stock and entering this information accurately on to the system
  • Taking reasonable care of your own and other people's health, safety and welfare and reporting any situation which may pose a serious or imminent threat to the well-being of yourself or of any other person
  • To carry out any other reasonable task as requested by management to ensure to smooth running of the organisation

Requirements and prospects

Desired skills

  • Somebody who is a good verbal communicator who has a polite, clear and professional telephone manner
  • Must have a good level of literacy skills
  • Required to work to deadlines, with good time management
  • Good numeracy skills
  • Confident in using email and the internet
  • The successful candidate will be organised Willing to work effectively in the team

  • Must be punctual as well as having a good attendance record Ability to work on own initiative, when required

Desired qualifications

  • GCSEs at grades C/4 or above (or equivalent) in maths and English
