An opportunity has been created at a Firm of Chartered Accountants in Heanor for candidates that are at the start of their financial career and looking for a business that can provide full training towards an AAT Qualification.

You will be provided with full funding and 1 day a week to attend the training hub for your studies along with expenses for any books and material required.

This is an excellent opportunity for anyone at the early stages of their career, as the business has an excellent reputation for training and development of all their staff, in a friendly and warm environment.

You will be working alongside the Accounts Manager and other trainees, completing a number of duties which will include:

  • Answering phones
  • Analysis client data
  • Filing company documentation
  • Photocopying
  • Useing microsoft packages (Excel, Word, Office)
  • Greeting clients

The apprentice will be enrolled on the Assistant Accountant Level 3 Standard, which includes 8 AAT exams, in addition to the Synoptic Assessment as part of the End-Point Assessment process.

The knowledge units will be delivered at the EMA training hub in Derby through day release.
