You will be working closely with the sales director and service manager. They will delegate certain tasks. But in general these are the main duties and delegations:

  • Able to communicate on the phone and in the showroom
  • Responsible for the booking of service calls
  • React to customer complaints and help put a resolution on place
  • Help and advice on appliance purchases
  • Able to move stock items
  • Assist in cleaning the showroom, office and staff area
  • In charge of the checking and sorting of emails
  • Assist in shop display and merchandising
  • Help put together sales quotes and repair quotes (including the sourcing of parts and pricing)
  • Assist in website maintenance - updating features, prices, promotions
  • Assist in social media posts banners
  • Manage website virtual assistant chat feature
  • Complete all damage returns paperwork
  • General filing duties i.e. FCA compliance, PCI compliance
  • Assist in drawing up rental contracts and collecting information

  • Some prior experience of selling online, helping others, working in a public facing role or voluntary work that demonstrates the ability to follow instructions and take ownership of their own work
  • Good communication skills - both verbally and written
