    Wages explained

    The current National Minimum Wage rates are £4.05 an hour for 16 - 17 year olds, £5.60 an hour for 18 - 20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over.
    Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship(usually one day per week).

  • To provide administration support by effectively using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher to produce letters, reports and documents as required 
  • To answer the telephone and take messages accurately
  • To cover on Reception on occasion
  • When School Nurse is not available, to provide basic first aid assistance to students (training will be given)
  • To use the school’s SIMS system to obtain student data (training will be given)
  • Any other duties as required

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of PowerPoint and Publisher would be useful but is not essential

Qualifications required

  • GCSE English and Maths at Grade C or above (or equivalent)
