    Wages explained

    The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year.
    Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year.
    The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over.
    Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

Advanced Apprenticeship in Electro Technical Technology.

To support our Electrical Engineers out in the field. To learn and grow into our culture of working. 4 days a week on the job and 1 day a week in the classroom.

General duties including:

Training provider

Competence and Knowledge based – Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Installing Electrotechnical Systems and Equipment.

This qualification provides the in depth knowledge, theory and skills required to perform safely and efficiently within the electrotechnical industry and reflects the competencies recognised as the benchmark for qualified electrotechnical operatives.

The Apprentice will spend most of the time working with the employer gaining valuable skills, knowledge and experience in the industry.
