Apprentice Pub Manager to be trained by the Management team to learn all areas of the running of the pub to include general housekeeping of all areas including the B&B, to learn all aspects of bar work:

  • Preparation of meals.
  • Cellar work.
  • Serving food in the dining room.


As an Apprentice you will be included on a Hospitality Qualification, this will involve a Vocational Learning Advisor who will visit you on a regular basis to deliver training and assess your work.

Future prospects

To be a shift manager in the pub subject to further expansion of the business. Starting on a level 2 qualification with the view to continue onto the Level 3 hospitality supervision and also completing personal license and cellar qualifications.

Things to consider

The pub is also set in a very rural location with no public transport so you will require your own transport. 30 Hours 5 days out of 7 including evenings and weekends. This could include split shifts. Shift patterns vary earliest shift could start at 8am and latest finish is 12.30pm.
