Duties will include:

  • Answer and deal with general telephone inquiries
  • Maintain accurate records of all customer related activity 
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with both external clients and agencies and internal colleagues
  • Assisting with sending out technical support renewal notices in a timely manner
  • Provide written quotations and purchase orders as and when required
  • Occasionally, liaise with clients to book in their training and coaching sessions
  • Assisting with providing clients with training confirmations each time a session is booked
  • Assisting with processing a variety of orders
  • Assisting with producing delivery notes and invoices for goods to be dispatched as and when required
  • Maintain a high level of market awareness of competitors’ products and services
  • Ensure you communicate our competitive advantages to clients and liaise with appropriate managers to ensure all appropriate personnel are informed
  • Maintain an up to date detailed knowledge of the products and services available from Hands Free Computing and ensure that appropriate manager is aware of all developments and expectations
  • Promote Hands Free Computing products and services at all times
  • Research products and feedback on new products to market
  • Assisting the Client Services Team Leader and Client Services Manager to improve procedures
  • Ad Hoc duties

  • GCSE English and maths Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent)

Future prospects

The possibility of a full-time post upon completing the apprenticeship.

Things to consider


As of April 1st 2020 the National Minimum Wage (NMW) for Apprentices is £4.15 per hour. This applies to 16-18 year old Apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year Apprenticeship. For all other Apprentices the Apprentice National Minimum wage appropriate their age applies. The Wage for Apprentices applies to both time spent on the job plus time spent training.
