Duties include:

  • Answer the telephone, meet and greet visitors, open post and distribute
  • Frank mail, maintain address labels, maintain pre-dial telephone system numbers
  • Provide secretarial and administrative support to the finance directors
  • Provide Support to the Chairman’s PA, including assuming responsibility for insurance
  • Provide administrative support for the Gold Club - typing minutes of meetings, issuing newsletters, letters, marketing, website maintenance
  • Order and manage stationery supplies
  • Monitor daily website e-mail and update web site with property changes
  • Provide administrative support required
  • Manage server daily back up tapes

Requirements and prospects

  • Computer literate with Microsoft work/Excel/Outlook experience

Qualifications required

A*– C in GCSE English and Maths or equivalent.

Future prospects

After a year apprenticeship and acquiring NVQ level 2 in Business Administration the opportunity to progress into a Level 3 apprenticeship in the Business. If completed both years then you will be considered for a permanent position.

Things to consider

Apprenticeship National Minimum Wage (ANMW): The National Minimum Wage for Apprentices is £3.40 per hour from 1st October 2016. This is the legal minimum pay per hour applying to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their apprenticeship. For apprentices 19 or over who have completed their first year and are continuing their apprenticeship, the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies.
