You will ensure a safe and clean environment is maintained for all customers. As part of a Leisure Assistant team you will be working closely with other members of the Operations Team, carrying out duties including:

Things to consider

The position is shift hours which include some early mornings, late evenings and some weekends on a shift rota pattern. Age Grant queries – see Kate as the Training provider may need to speak to their CDS adviser. RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification would be desirable but not essential. Apprenticeship National Minimum Wage (ANMW): The National Minimum Wage for Apprentices is £3.40 per hour from 1st October 2016. This is the legal minimum pay per hour applying to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their apprenticeship. For apprentices 19 or over who have completed their first year and are continuing their apprenticeship, the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies.

All learning will be done in the workplace; you may need to attend the occasional workshop in College. If you need to complete Functional Skills, you will be required to attend College once a week for at least the first 3 months.
