  • To be familiar with the aims and objectives of the nursery and to assist in promoting a high standard of care by putting these into practise
  • To assist in the day to day domestic management of the nursery
  • To assist in record keeping and the monitoring of the children's development
  • To share in, responsibility for the supervision of children in outside and inside practical working or play areas and at lunch as required.
  • To assist with the economic control of nursery supplies and equipment, informing the relevant people when supplies need restocking
