As this is a customer-facing role, the customers will need to be your highest priority, and you will need to interact with them in a polite and friendly manner.

 

In this role you will:

  • Train to be a waiter/waitress in our brassiere and function departments
  • Work towards gaining an NVQ qualification in Customer Service
  • Interact with a variety of people from different walks of life, from other staff members to customers, in a busy and welcoming environment
  • Weekly wages will also include any tips left by customers - these tips are to be shared between the team.
  • Learn to work quickly and calmly under pressure during busy times, using your own initiative to solve issues when they arise
  • Upon the successful candidates' completion of the apprenticeship, training to higher supervisory status is available and will be offered
  • Support the rest of your co-workers in the day-to-day running of the establishment
  • Experience in a customer facing role is preferred but not essential as all training will be provided
  • Assist during any functions that may be taking place in the hotel, completing all of the tasks you are given in a timely manner as set by your manager

  • Ability to remain calm and work quickly under pressure during busy times.

The ideal candidate for this role will need to be

  • Friendly and approachable.
  • Well-presented - we only allow jewellery to be wedding rings and studs for earrings.
  • Polite and accommodating.
  • Happy with healthy wellbeing.

Qualifications required

  • GCSE's or equivalent at grade C or above in English and Maths.

Future prospects

A full time position will be available for the right candidate, and training to supervisor status is available.

Things to consider

You will be active for considerable periods of time throughout your shift.
