    Wages explained

    The current National Minimum Wage rates are £4.05 an hour for 16 - 17 year olds, £5.60 an hour for 18 - 20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over.
    Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship(usually one day per week).

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Update window display
  • Update and maintain key book and cabinet
  • Update Lettings list
  • Produce Lettings advert and check proof with production team
  • Put new instructions on Gumtree and update Gumtree daily
  • Routine property inspections
  • Liaise with sales team on all lettings offers and referencing forms
  • Input referencing to clear view
  • Work through lease stream on new applications
  • Liaise with landlords and tenants for maintenance issues, arrange access for contractors
  • Work with Lettings manager on renewals process
  • Arrange gas safety checks
  • Forward landlord statements to landlord and file hard copy
  • Create and update let only and maintenance property files
  • Arrange inventories
  • ​​​​​​​Process contractor invoices
  • Liaise with other agents on making sure sub instructions are up to date
  • Chase landlords for shortfalls
  • Ensure website is up to date
