Duties to Include:

  • Managing the booking line
  • Allocating time slots by depot
  • Managing external Coldstore bookings
  • Chasing late arrivals
  • Chasing deliveries not booked in for next day
  • Cross referencing p/o against AX
  • Non arrival/Shortage report for all depots
  • Managing dolav returns at depots
  • Pallet manifest and Coldstore intakes
  • Closing down open purchase orders
  • Micro management of known raw material shortages (CMR/dispatch notes etc)
  • Create internal transfer for Raw Material and email out
  • Compile market ordering KPI report
  • Weekly Management spreadsheet data
  • Maintaining Specification/Non conformance spreadsheet
  • Matching Faraday invoices
  • Coordinate Coldstore bookings for contract beef
  • Select Meats order and invoicing administration
  • Responding daily to customer shortages
  • Communicating on reasons for substitutions
  • Investigating short shelf life and disposals
  • Updating KPI sheets and graphs
  • Investigating stock discrepancies

Future prospects

Whilst this role is offered initially on a 12 month fixed-term contract, there is potential for the candidate to become a permanent member of the team, and to develop elsewhere within Supply Chain/Planning, or another area of the business. All vacancies are advertised internally, and all people are allowed to apply.

Things to consider

Apprenticeship National Minimum Wage (ANMW): The National Minimum Wage for Apprentices is £3.40 per hour from 1st October 2016. This is the legal minimum pay per hour applying to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their apprenticeship. For apprentices 19 or over who have completed their first year and are continuing their apprenticeship, the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies.
