We wish to appoint a proactive and passionate Recruitment Assistant to join our successful team in order to meet our increasing demands and growth of our service.

You will be responsible for supporting the Manager and Quality Assurance in achieving a high level of service delivery, ensuring the aims and objectives of Care of Excellence are achieved, through effective management strategies and taking specific responsibility for the management of the Domiciliary Care Team, you will be responsible for the recruitment and selection of new staffs wishing to join the agency and will also carry out relevant compliance checks.

 

  • Principle Responsibilities

Your role will be focused on Interviewing staff, ensuring compliance and getting staff files signed off by Management.

Answering and making telephone calls-Must have a good phone mannerism
Ensuring training needs and updates are met
Your role will assist with allocating schedules (rota) to the Care Team on a daily/weekly basis, completed and sent out in ample time to ensure safe and effective service delivery.
Cover care staff during emergencies
Ensure sickness and absence is adequately covered and documented

Participate in interviews/Recruitment and Business Development
To maintain accurate records.
To assist the Registered Manager in holding meetings and taking minutes.                              

Assist with staff Supervisions and Appraisals.
To manage referrals taken from local authorities and the private sector.
To assist in the planning and implementing of care packages for individual service users.
To ensure that all the Team Carers who work with new referrals are fully briefed to enable them to carry out their role effectively.
To take responsibility for confirming time sheets of Team Carers.
To participate in the out of hours 'On Call Service' as part of the role.
Recruitment Assistant
Ensure Staff have appropriate supervision and training
Ensure Service Users have appropriate care reviews
To assist with the Quality management systems
Undertake investigations and service reviews as part of the complaints procedure.
Health and safety.
Required to spend time in the field on client visits with hands-on care to ensure you know service users needs.

No formal qualifications required but assessment will be carried out at interview to determine whether this programme is suitable.

The successful candidate can progress onto an Apprenticeship at Level 3, into employment, or onto further training at college.
