The Centre for Excellence national account sales support function has a vacancy for a national account customer services advisor to work within the central customer services team.  

As part of this team you will be responsible for providing high quality customer care to both internal and specific external customers, ensuring that calls are dealt with quickly, efficiently and to the satisfaction of the customer whenever possible. 

Role and Responsibilities:

  • The role will encompass the day to day logging and solution of all customer service issues for specific accounts
  • You will be responsible for the communication and correction of service issues to the depot community
  • You will be dealing with all inbound and outbound calls in a polite and professional manner, informing customers of potential problems as well as recording and investigating issues reported by the customer

Requirements and prospects

Desired skills

  • Ability to use Microsoft packages - to be successful in this role you will need to be computer literate to Intermediate level
  • Previous Customer Service experience
  • An excellent telephone manner is essential
  • Good communication skills

Personal qualities

  • The ability to work well under pressure
  • Confidence in dealing with customers
  • Well presented, punctual and enthusiastic

Qualifications required

GCSE grades A – C in English and Maths or equivalent preferred. A grade D would be acceptable
To be successful in this role you will need to be computer literate to Intermediate level.
