    Wages explained

    The current National Minimum Wage rates are £4.05 an hour for 16 - 17 year olds, £5.60 an hour for 18 - 20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over.
    Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship(usually one day per week).

ICT Apprenticeship with JACE Training

This apprenticeship opportunity will be working with JACE Training in the ICT department alongside two other staff members. You will be working four days a week and training one day a week towards the qualification. At the end of the apprenticeship you should have gained a level 3 ICT qualification.

You will be working and learning on the following areas: 

  • Working on Word 
  • Working on Powerpoint 
  • Working on Excel 
  • Photocopying 
  • Dealing with Email enquiries 
  • Printing 
  • Making files up 
  • Taking telephone enquiries 

As part of your apprenticeship you must: 

  • Have a keen interest in ICT and a willingness to learn 
  • To be a good time keeper
  • To give your own thoughts and opinions on work projects 
  • To work well as part of a team
