Vac Save are now on the search for an apprentice to join their highly experienced team within the Call Centre as a Business Administration Apprentice.

Vac Save are a friendly repair specialist of vacuum cleaners across Essex and Hertfordshire with many years of experience.

The business was launched in Chelmsford to help people with the repair and service of vacuums and through word of mouth demand grew and now they cover the whole of Essex and Hertfordshire and are still on the rise!

The tasks which the successful applicant will undertake are all listed below:

  • General customer enquiries over the phone.
  • Processing of sales invoices.
  • Results spreadsheets.
  • On-line processes in Google drive.
  • Customer service.

Things to consider

The National Minimum Wage for Apprentices is £3.30 per hour (From October 1st 2016 this will be increasing by 3% to £3.40 per hour). This is the legal minimum pay per hour applying to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their apprenticeship. For apprentices 19 or over who have completed their first year and are continuing their apprenticeship, the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies.

We launched our business in Chelmsford to help people with the repair and service of vacuums and through word-of-mouth demand grew until we covered the whole of Essex and Hertfordshire and we are expanding all the time.

And since we first started out we have successfully repaired more than 5,000 vacuum cleaners.
