Duties include:

  • Develop the skills to assist the ICT Department in all aspects of maintaining and providing ICT support and services
  • Develop the skills to become the primary contact for internal users, experiencing technical issues, production problems and general IT enquiries
  • Ability to work closely with the IT Staff and provide support to IT Team across the business
  • Develop the skills to participate in the implementation, documentation and maintenance of the simulation systems
  • Develop the skills to support IT staff on projects to create visual experiences for the IT users including software rollouts
  • Develop the skills to work on updating of the centre’s systems and maintenance of the IT systems

Qualifications required

Things to consider

Apprenticeship National Minimum Wage (ANMW): The National Minimum Wage for Apprentices is £3.30 per hour (From October 1st 2016 this will be increasing by 3% to £3.40 per hour). This is the legal minimum pay per hour applying to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their apprenticeship. For apprentices 19 or over who have completed their first year and are continuing their apprenticeship, the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. Training provider

Throughout the duration of your Apprenticeship you will be required to attend the 3aaa Technology Academy in Reading for up to 12 weeks ,on a block release basis for structured training. The remainder of your training will be completed in the workplace with your Employer. You will work towards a Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship for IT, Software, Web and Telecoms Professionals.

The qualifications consist of:

  • Edexcel Advanced Apprenticeship in IT, Software, Web and Telecoms
  • Level 3 Diploma in ICT Professional Competence
  • Level 3 Extended Diploma in ICT Systems and Principles
  • Level 2 Functional Skills English, Maths, ICT (if applicable)
