You will be involved in assisting with a full range of tasks including:

  • Vehicle inspections
  • Servicing
  • Repairs
  • MOTs
  • Changing of all filters, plugs, engine oil
  • Removal and inspection of all suspension bushes, joints, discs, pads, coil springs, brake pipes, hoses and exhaust systems
  • Checking tyres and fluids

Future prospects

For the right person, progression onto a Level 3 apprenticeship with the organisation. And a full time role after that.

Things to consider

The National Minimum Wage (NMW) for Apprentices is £3.40 from the 1st October 2016. This applies to 16-18 year old Apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other Apprentices the Apprentice National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The Wage for Apprentices applies to both time spent on the job plus time spent training.

With a combined 25 years of experience working in large main dealers Michael and Robert saw an opportunity to offer the same level of customer service and mechanical expertise but for a fraction of the cost being charged by main dealers today.
