This new role will support the company to manage its existing commitments to customers by providing first line support on the products that we provide.

This is a key role in the delivery and service to our customers.  The role covers a range of activities to ensure that our customers have the best experience of using our products and services.  Working within a small team you will be responsible for supporting your team members, managing and maintaining the customer ticketing system, responding to customer questions and queries, updating and maintaining customer records, answering the telephone, responding to emails as well as general office administration duties.  

There will also be the opportunity to help and support the other team members to design learning materials for our clients.

Qualifications required

Minimum of 5 GCSE qualifications, or equivalent, at Grade C or above, including Maths and English.

A clear understanding of basic IT software packages.

Future prospects

On successful completion of the apprenticeship a permanent position may be available to the candidate.

Things to consider

You will need to be able to travel between Chelmsford and Braintree as you will attend Braintree District Council for pre arranged learning sessions. This is an apprenticeship for a Level 3 Diploma in Business Administration. You may also need to work towards functional skills in ICT, Maths and English. Apprenticeship National Minimum Wage (ANMW): The National Minimum Wage for Apprentices is £3.30 per hour (From October 1st 2016 this will be increasing by 3% to £3.40 per hour). This is the legal minimum pay per hour applying to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their apprenticeship. For apprentices 19 or over who have completed their first year and are continuing their apprenticeship, the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies.

Training provider

The company will ensure full support is available in the form of an induction programme and in house training.
In return you will be required to complete a Level 3 Apprenticeship framework within the required time frame (12 to 18 months), and meet the standards of performance and attendance expected by the organisation.

Full training will be provided from both the company and the Training Provider in order to help you gain a Level 3 Diploma in Business Administration
