Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting Network Managers
  • Finding faults and Troubleshooting
  • Repairing and replacing Computer and AV hardware
  • Setting up (as directed) for Presentations
  • Documenting Network Set ups
  • Writing User Instructions (as advised)
  • Assisting staff and students in computer/ software use
  • Compiling Inventories Computer Hardware and Software licenses
  • Installing operating Systems / software
  • Moving and cleaning IT/AV hardware as required.
  • Managing and assisting with theatre sound and light requirements.
  • A DBS check will be required for the role.

About the employer

Approximately 11% of training takes place in the QA learning centre classroom. 9% is done in the workplace, through online training, face-to-face meetings with your QA Technical Skills Coach, or developing your portfolio. The remaining time will be spent on your workplace activity.
