This will give an individual the opportunity to gain an all-round experience.

Throughout the apprenticeship the apprentice will spend 3 months within each of the companies within the Lloyd & Whyte Group:

The successful candidate needs to provide exceptional administrative support to the Lloyd & Whyte Group, whilst learning on the job, building the knowledge and skills to gain an apprenticeship qualification and preparing for going out into the work place.

Tasks will include:

Ensuring all administration is dealt with in a professional manner and in line with company guidelines; this may include:

  • Postal & banking duties
  • Scanning
  • Data entry
  • Letter and email correspondence
  • Maintaining accurate records
  • Supporting all areas of the business as required
  • Achieve individual targets as set and agreed
  • Assist with the achievement of team targets
  • Provide professional support and high levels of service to both internal and external customers
  • Liaise effectively with insurance companies and suppliers

Qualifications required

GCSE's at Grade C or above in Maths and English or equivalent.

Things to consider

Prepared to provide excellent customer service, good attention to detail and behave professionally at all times. The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year. Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year. The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds, £7.05 for anyone aged 21 to 24 and £7.50 for those over 25.
