  • To present a professional and caring for all those telephone or visit the care agency
  • To answer the telephone promptly and deal with enquiries in a helpful, courteous and welcoming manner, being aware of the need to maintain confidentiality at all times regarding staffs, service users and external partners
  • To Arrange Interviews for new applicants
  • Diary management
  • Liaising with suppliers regarding potential applicants
  • Providing support for the full recruitment lifecycle
  • Advertising job vacancy
  • Coordinating incoming CVs from various sources
  • Filing interview notes
  • Ensure that all end of probation interviews are carried out, paperwork is completed and records update
  • To accurately record and up-date information on personnel record files
  • To provide administrative and clerical support and other support as may be requested from time-to-time by the Line Manager and other Senior Personnel

Requirements and prospects

Things to consider

The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year. Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year. The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds, £7.05 an hour for anyone aged 21-24, and £7.50 an hour for anyone aged 25 and over. Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).
